Cake or Death? That is the question our podcasters were all asking when they indulged in the gooey delights of our latest business in the series!

Our Young Broadcasters got stuck in with some hairdressing and nail painting before creating an awesome podcast with Mary Pugsley MBE and Kat Parsley at Hair at the Academy.

Hair at the Academy is a unique training salon where young people from all walks of life can make steps towards a bright new future. With specialist support and guidance, their students learn a life-long trade, grow in confidence, and find a true sense of belonging.

Our third local business podcast is super chocolatey as we go down the cobbles of Gandy Street to Chococo!

Our second local business podcast takes our Young Broadcasters to The Exeter Phoenix, where they talk to Holly Lawrence. Holly is their fundraising and development manager and gave our journalists a tour of their fantastic building and then spoke to them all about the great work they do in the community.

We were delighted to visit the vegan deli bar on South Street called 'How on Earth'. We got to speak to the owner Chloe all about her journey with the business and we were also very lucky to sample some of the amazing food they sell there!
