About this listen

Could this be the end of the monarchy? That's what many are asking after the king’s brother, former Prince Andrew, was arrested for his dealings with convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein. He was captured on camera today looking terrified in the back of a car as he left jail. As Allison Hall reports, today also happened to be his birthday. And we 're learning more about the eight people lost in that devastating avalanche in California. As Ann Mercogliano reports, many were moms of kids who attend an exclusive boarding ski school nearby. Plus, it's a shocking discovery in a basement. When cops responded to a fire alarm going off inside a house on the University of Iowa campus, nothing could have prepared them for what, they say, is a disturbing hazing incident. The fraternity's national office tells us they investigated and the individuals responsible were removed from membership. Here's Steven Fabian. And did being hypnotized lead to their deaths? That's the question about three high school students who died within weeks of each other, in 2011, after allegedly being hypnotized by their principal. The principal did not respond to our request for comment but has denied any connection between his hypnosis sessions and the three deaths. Alison Hall has the details.
