    Welcome to another captivating episode of the Indie Tea Talk Podcast! This time, we’re joined by Harvey Semple, a York-based songwriter, producer, and creative whose musical path has taken him from basement band rehearsals to festival stages, community recording studios, and solo releases.


    Harvey began writing songs as soon as he could play guitar, growing up inspired by grunge, blues, and classic songwriting. After forming bands at a young age and winning Centre Stage, he found himself playing Leeds and Reading Festival while still at school. Since then, he’s studied music production, helped build a community recording studio during COVID, and now balances working in sound for TV with releasing his own music.
