    The season campaigns for our Petersphere teams enter their final stretch now and Petersfield rugby club are still in the hunt for 5th place in the Regional South central 2 league which would earn them a promotional playoff spot. In football, Petersfield The Rams mens side have finally started picking up points since the earthquake shock of management departure in January.     With just 4 games of the season to go, Petersfield rugby club are hot on the heels of the Old Tottonians for a finishing position of 5th in the league. In so doing, they would find themselves in the play-offs for promotion.     Petersfield Rugby Club are running out of games as they try to sneak into 5th place and earn a chance at the end of season promotion play-offs. In a game they would be expected to win, they host Reeds Weybridge but the game is a much tighter affair than they would hope for. https://www.petersfieldrfc.club/ . Petersfield the Rams mens team have quite the busy week. Firstly on Tuesday, they have a Seniors cup tie against high-flying Locks Heath and then Saturday saw them welcome Brockenhurst. We have interviews with new coach Rich Bessey (and revelations of the worst penalty ever taken) and we hear from the directors 6 weeks on from parting with their coach and the subsequent player exodus. https://www.petersfieldtownfc.co.uk/ . The outstanding womens rams side finally resumed league football and faced a rare challenge from Cowplain. Would they respond after going into half time 2-3 down. In hockey, the women's side had itself a postponed game, but Romsey arrived at Bedales to take on our men's first side in a closely fought match.     Rain-soaked Petersfield takes another battering this week but a game for the men away to Wincanton goes ahead on Tuesday the 17th February. In a week that saw so many unplayable pitches and postponements, Petersfield rugby club did however welcome a new nemesis in the form of Twickenham to Penns Place.     After a feisty encounter last week for Petersfield Rugby club, a calmer and more measured performance was required for an away game at Ellingham and Ringwood.
