  • Romans Chapter 2 Part 4: AWARENESS OF LAW
    Jan 13 2023

Verse eleven is interesting. It says that concerning how YHWH perceives men, there is "no taking of face." YHWH (and we should, too) takes no one at face value. YHWH looks under the surface. Any person hoping to get a free pass from YHWH because of his race, his political party, or the bumper stickers on his car ... is in for a huge disappointment. It takes more than just a pretty face and the appearance of success to be justified in YHWH's eyes. YHWH looks upon the heart, not outward labels, to see who they are.

This presentation is a continuation of the previous passage that we have just completed. The word that I want to focus on in this part is the Greek word "aeonian."

  • Romans Chapter 1 Part 8: THE WALKING DEAD: HATERS OF TRUTH
    Dec 26 2022

This passage unmistakably condemns homosexuality, also called Lesbianism and Sodomy. Whoever practices this receives to themselves the compensation of their ways ... which they deserve. Sodomites and lesbians not only earn public contempt but also sickness and insanity. They are obstinate and willful. No laws, admonitions, or warnings turn them from their wicked ways. However, the threat of physical reprisal and disease seem to make an impression on them today and back in Shaul’s day.
