About this listen

 The Income Tax Department recently released Excel-based utilities (Version 1.0), a JSON schema, and validation tools for the financial year 2024-25 (assessment year 2025-26). Included in this release are the ITR-1 (Sahaj) and ITR-4 (Sugam) forms. Taxpayers can download these offline utilities from the official e-filing portal version 2.0. Please note that since the Excel utilities have just become available, the online ITR filing option is not yet active.
