MartyrsDay.US became a reality when the National Inaugural Martyrs Day Founders emerged: Ronald B. Saunders, Yunior Rivas, Ebony L. Dendy, Reginal Van Lee, Tenzin Gund Marrow, Vincent DeForest, Gwen Howze, Martha R. Conley, Ronald Collins, Dr. Andrew Smallwood, Anita D. Russell, Dr. Margaret Bristow, Dr. Artie Travis, Tamara M. Saunders, Kim E. Andrews, Bonita Penn, Lea Blumenfeld, Jawan Finley, and Martha Swan. Once assembled the organizing committee got to work, beginning with the Martyrs Day Resolution conjoined with the power of memory, purpose, proclamations, and national events. Dr. Edna B.
