Many of us say we trust God. Yet when life becomes uncertain, we often find ourselves bargaining and grasping for control, telling God what to do and how to do it. We want reassurance and guarantees that everything will work out exactly as we hope. And when things do not go our way, we may pout, grow angry with God, or even feel abandoned. I talk often about unconditional love, but what about unconditional trust? The practice of unconditional trust invites us to remain open, grounded, and faithful, even when we cannot see the full picture. I have learned that trust is not about pretending life will always be easy. It is about believing that even our challenges can lead us toward growth, wisdom, deeper peace, and ultimately, to God's perfect plan. I will share how practicing unconditional trust can help us move beyond fear and into a life guided by faith, surrender, and the inner calm that comes from knowing everything will ultimately be alright.
