About this listen
A Tale from The Story Parlour
Survivor – Part 2 | The Girls Who Vanished
The heat of summer hangs heavy over the streets of London, and something in the neighbourhood has begun to change.
At first it is only whispers. A girl who does not come home one evening. A worried mother knocking on doors. Quiet conversations in doorways that stop when someone new walks past. But as the days stretch on, the whispers grow louder.
Another girl disappears.
Then another.
Julie tries to convince herself that what she saw at the house on the corner meant nothing. Just strange sounds in an old house. Just a light in the attic window late at night. But the more the street talks about the missing girls, the harder it becomes to ignore the uneasy feeling that something is wrong.
Sandra still smiles in the sunshine.
Bill still moves through the neighbourhood as calmly as ever.
Yet the house on the corner seems to be watching.
And when Julie sees the grey van parked beside the house in the dark, with something hidden in the back, the fear she has been trying to bury begins to take shape.
Then Sandra asks her for a small favour.
Just a quick trip up to the attic.
Survivor – Part 2 continues the four part story of suspicion, manipulation, and the slow realisation that some dangers live much closer to home than anyone wants to believe.
Perfect for listeners who enjoy dark storytelling, creeping suspense, and mysteries that unfold piece by piece.
Thank you for listening, and we will see you next time for another story from The Parlour.
