🌊 “Judgment and Salvation” (Genesis 7)

Genesis 7 brings us to the moment the story has been moving toward—the rain begins, the ark is sealed, and God’s word is fulfilled. In this episode, we walked through the flood narrative and saw that it reveals both the holiness and the mercy of God. Judgment is real, serious, and total—but it is never separated from God’s purpose to save.

The flood shows us that God takes sin seriously because He takes His creation seriously. The waters rise not as an impulsive act, but as a measured response to corruption that has reached its limit. Yet woven throughout Genesis 7 is mercy. Before judgment falls, God provides a way of salvation. The ark stands as a tangible reminder that God never judges without also making a way to preserve life.
