 Joe Blanner, board member of the Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority, joins John Hancock and Chris Rongey as the organization votes to pursue folding their entity into Explore St Louis. This would allow Explore to have total control of the Dome at America's Center. He says since the Rams left, that many St Louisans wrongly think nothing happens at the Dome. The 'facility supports many of the large scale conventions' that come to St Louis, 'it's up to us to preserve it,' says Blanner. $150 million dollars is needed to make improvements and keep it competitive, but the entity only has access to $90-million.
