About this listen

While daydreaming about my next project, I realised that quitting has become one of my top skills in both good and bad ways. It is a skill I have honed since childhood. I have quit the usual: jobs, sports, instruments, friendships (ouch!); and some less common things: high school, Bible college, countries. If you need a little break from the stories of achievement, join me as I recount the things I have quit as well as the things I have quit trying to quit (social media and procrastination, I’m looking at you!). Hopefully, my failures (and a couple of successes) will make you feel better about your own life for at least a little while. May 26 2020
I have this fantasy of running along a beach at sunrise with a long ponytail flowing in the wind as the sun rises - it's BS! Running and I are not friends. Our relationship is a toxic one in which running keeps hurting me, I leave, and then it pulls me back in. This week I am joined by my former running partner (and husband) Scott to talk about why I keep quitting. Support this podcast
