About this listen

Let's talk about the church that Jesus built. If Christ visited our churches today, would He recognize or be happy with what He saw or would He give a condemnation, turn over some tables and begin to whip some of the people shepherding and leading His people today?© 2025 "I AM" Church - I Do God Christianity Spirituality

  • Fear Not, Go Forward, The Vision Lives
    Nov 2 2025

What if God’s vision for your life is already written—and He’s simply asking you to believe, move, and live it out? In this message, we’re urged to Fear Not, Go Forward, and remember The Vision Lives. From God’s promises to Abram (Genesis 15:1) to our position with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:4–6), we learn that unbelief and overthinking can shut down God’s power, but faith keeps us aligned with His purpose.

We unpack three catalysts for growth—Inspiration (God stirs your heart), Illumination (the Holy Spirit gives understanding), and Revelation (God unveils His vision). You’ll be challenged to trade mere occupation for vocation—the works God prepared for you in advance—and to speak from where God is taking you, not just from what you see today.

Key themes: God’s promises stand, faith activates power, discernment for “God-thing vs. me-thing,” and staying in the calling. If He placed you with Christ above “every name that is named,” then what’s under Jesus’ feet is under yours too.

    Scriptures referenced:
    Genesis 15:1; Genesis 28:15; 2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 2:9; Proverbs 29:18; Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:15–16; Ephesians 1:19–23; Ephesians 2:4–6,19; 1 John 4:18; Romans 8:28; Philippians 4:13

    Takeaways:
    • Fear not—God is with you and will keep you.
    • Go forward—keep moving in faith; don’t let intellect or unbelief stall you.
    • The vision lives—God’s calling over you endures because He lives.

  • What Is It That Brought You To Jesus?
    Oct 27 2025

When Jesus’ words grew hard and “many…walked no more with Him” (John 6:66), Peter stayed and said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” Today’s message asks each of us to wrestle with that same question: What first brought you to Jesus—and what keeps you with Him now?

Drawing from John 6:66–69 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3, we explore how belief matures from needs-based moments (“Lord, I’m hungry—feed me”) into a steadfast, enduring trust that resists the end-time pull to fall away. Through biblical snapshots—the woman with the issue of blood, a desperate father, a man born blind, Thomas, and Peter on the water—we see the many reasons people come to Jesus…and the one reason we remain: He alone is the Truth and has the words of life.

    Key Points

    • Why we came vs. why we stay: God may use a need to draw us, but He calls us to grow into unwavering confidence in Christ.
    • Belief that endures: True faith is more than agreeing with truth—it’s relying on Jesus and remaining faithful through trial.
    • Guarding against falling away (apostasy): Don’t let disappointment, delay, or the crowd’s opinion talk you out of what God has already shown you.
    • From outside to inside: God isn’t after performance alone; He transforms the heart so love, forgiveness, and holiness flow from within.
    • “To whom shall we go?” When options run out, remember: Jesus isn’t an option—He’s the only way, truth, and life.

    Scriptures

    Primary: John 6:66–69; 2 Thessalonians 2:3
    Also referenced: Matthew 14:28–31; Matthew 15:8; Mark 5:25–34; Matthew 17:14–20; John 9:25; John 8:32; Galatians 2:20

    Reflection Questions

    1. What originally drew you to Jesus, and how has your faith matured since then?
    2. Where are you tempted to follow the crowd rather than Christ?
    3. What practice this week (prayer, Word, fellowship, obedience) will strengthen your enduring trust?

    Prayer

“Lord Jesus, You alone have the words of eternal life. Deepen my faith from momentary need to lifelong reliance. Guard my heart from falling away, and make me faithful to the end. Amen.”

  • Is Anything Too Hard For God?
    Oct 19 2025

When life says “impossible,” God says “watch Me.” This sermon traces the Bible’s consistent answer to our hardest questions: Nothing is too hard for the Lord (Genesis 18:14). Through Jeremiah 32, Luke 1:37, and Ephesians 3:20, we learn how to stand in faith, pray with expectation, and partner with God in the waiting.

    You’ll learn:

    • How to shift from “why me?” to “what is God doing in me?”
    • Practical steps to pray bold, Bible-based prayers
    • How obedience opens doors that effort alone can’t
    • Why God’s delays are not God’s denials
    • Ways to speak life when circumstances shout “no”

Key Scriptures: Gen. 18:14; Jer. 32:17,27; Lk. 1:37; Eph. 3:20
Great for: anyone facing health challenges, family strain, financial pressure, career transition, or a God-sized calling.
