Reiko McNish Sato is the visionary founder and CEO of Amateras. Born in Tokyo, raised in Canada, and a graduate of ICU, Reiko launched Amateras in 2018—a modern Japanese loungewear brand inspired by the sun goddess Amaterasu (天照). With one luxurious kimono robe and a logo tee, she’s since grown Amateras into a multi-faceted lifestyle brand—spanning fashion, hospitality, interior design, sustainable pop-ups (from Tokyo to Singapore), and even a podcast and community of aspiring young women (tokyoyoungboss). She also recently began an interior design company named Jamo.
