About this listen

We don't know anyone that anxiety doesn't affect. It literally can impact anyone, anywhere at anytime in their life. There isn't a 1 fix solution to it- we wish! And even though a huge percentage of people are diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, currently around 8 million in the UK (undiagnosed there is an even higher number) it is still an issue people don't know enough about, let alone how to deal with it.

Today we speak with Emma Williams who is a psychotherapist and psychodramatist who helps us delve deeper into anxiety.

Emma explains how anxiety works against us and occasionally for us, but most importantly accessible tools to use in the moment to help you soothe your nervous system.

Anxiety can make you feel very lonely and feeling alone can create anxiety- that's a hard ride to get off. We want you to know you are not alone, there is help out there and asking for it is the first step to feeling better. It is also incredibly brave and if you can do that, you can calm your anxiety. Please share this episode with anyone you feel may need to hear it. Emma's reassuring knowledge and kindness shows us there is a way to live feeling free of fear.

This podcast is intended to educate and support you. If you are suffering from any psychological or medical conditions, please seek help from a qualified health professional.
