    Lindsay Miller serves as the Youth Programs Coordinator with ABLE SC. Lindsay works with schools across the state and facilitates courses, where students learn important skills such as building independent living, self-advocacy, and work readiness skills. Lindsay Miller received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in 2018 (BA in Film). Prior to her work with Able South Carolina, Lindsay taught students in Montessori classrooms and has worked with senior citizens in the Columbia area.

    Today, we will explore the significance of meeting the needs of youth with disabilities as they transition into employment and higher education.

Before this role, Kymmie served as a Career Specialist with LSD1's The College Center, LSD2, and as a dual enrollment instructor with Midlands Technical College. She is also a graduate of the Columbia College and is pursuing her doctorate in Curriculum Studies at the University of South Carolina. Kymmie is also a NCDA Presidential Award recipent and was recognized in Columbia Business Monthly’s Best and Brightest 35 and Under. She is also the creator of Glitter, Glue and Goals, a mobile vision board service.

    Today, we'll be discussing the importance of digital literacy in helping students transition into employment and post-secondary education.

Before this role, Mrs. Morris was a Regional Advocate for Clemson University’s Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) and Director of Community Programs with SC Department of Corrections. She is a graduate of both USC Aiken and Central Michigan University and currently serves on the Aiken County School Board.
