Boujee, spelled b-o-u-j-e-e, is hip-hop slang for something “luxurious in lifestyle yet humble in character,” influenced by and often interchanged with the slang bougie, b-o-u-g-i-e, which, by definition, can also refer to someone leading a boring middle-class life but aspiring to a wealthier and more sophisticated life, particularly as reflected in their consumer choices.
