Mark’s 40th celebrations go international as we recap the Barcelona Bonanza from start to finish. Think airport “responsible” drinks, Dublin lounge dramas (book in advance, babes), and Siobhán somehow forgetting her suitcase the minute we land.
We check into the Social Hub (cheap, gorgeous, STEAMERS in the rooms) before hopping into a tacky-stunning Hummer limo with DJ Paul on the decks. Then it’s Gatsby Barcelona: fancy dress code, non-stop mini Broadway numbers, and bottles of Albariño flying.
Day two brings beach lunch at Julieta’s, “human-sized” seagulls, private tapas at Sensi (octopus PTSD included), and the greatest karaoke bar on earth… with one iconic lyrical disaster. Buckle up its a good one!
