Cindy McGinley is a Mental Health Counselor who provides Equine-Assisted & Nature-Based Psychotherapy and Coaching at her farm just outside of Syracuse, NY. She has been a Shamanic Teacher and Shamanic Healer for many years and incorporates a reverence and respect for the more-than-human world into her counseling programs. Cindy is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Hypnotherapist. Cindy is dual-certified with EAGALA as both an Equine Specialist and a Mental Health Counselor, as well as trained in trauma-focused equine-assisted psychotherapy through Natural Lifemanship. In addition, she holds a post-masters certificate in Equine-Assisted Mental Health from Prescott College. She and her husband live with 5 horses, 4 Nigerian Dwarf goats, a Labrador Retriever mix, 3 domestic shorthair cats, and a guinea rooster named Heihei.
