Welcome to the HopeHouse OKC podcast, where we delve into our mission to break the cycles of poverty and homelessness—one life at a time.At the heart of our efforts is our homeless assistance program, a comprehensive initiative designed to provide families experiencing homelessness with the support they need to rebuild their lives. Our Transitional Housing Program offers fully furnished residences for 18 to 24 months, during which families work on personalized action plans. These plans address various challenges, including restoring driver's licenses, securing transportation, obtaining legal relief, completing GEDs, pursuing continued education, developing resumes, receiving job training and placement, managing finances, and promoting healthy living. Recognizing that breaking the cycle of poverty requires a holistic approach, our hopeKIDS program focuses on the educational development, social awareness, and physical health of children in our care, aiming to heal past traumas and foster a hopeful future.
