Are we ready at a moment's notice to bring the word, in and out of season?

We are people of the word and of the spirit, so is what God is doing on the inside, causing us to want to talk to others about Him.

Today, we hear from our friends in Israel and pray blessings upon them.

We also look back on part of our story and how God has spoken to us about being fishers of men, here in our backyard and to the nations.

How should we be in this time?

Not reacting to the things happening around us but responding rightly according to what The Word says.

To act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.

This morning, Ken discussed a couple of recent events and encouraged us to reflect on our foundations. What are we building on?

First, we hear an exhortation from Cindy then we hear from Ken about having in us, a default of thankfulness.

From dreams in the night, to long-term vision for your generation and the next.

How do we hear from God and how do we steward that well.

First we hear from Alana about her time in Thailand recently then we hear from Ken about our heart for missions, a local expression of that and the other expressions that we support as a church: To Israel, to India and the new allocation of support to Kristen with what he does here in NZ and also to the nations.

God is love, and He first loved us, but let's not only focus on that one attribute, but remember that, as A W Tozer puts it, "All of God does, all that God does"

We are not our own, we are bought with a price.
