The plagues begin!

God, through Moses, publicly exposed the false authorities and spiritual systems of Egypt by dismantling them through plagues. We see that God is a merciful God who strips away what enslaves us to restore His rightful place on the throne of our hearts.

The showdown between Moses & Aaron, and Pharoah, begins!

Exodus now moves into a long, “boring” genealogy.

But wait… is it really boring? Or are there some hidden gems here that will have us sit up in wonder?

Frequently, we're tempted to avoid the geneologies in scripture like in Exodus 6:14-30. But let's examine this one more closely as it says a lot more than we might initially realize!

No matter our mistakes, the Lord will ensure that His call and His promises will stand.
