So you paid $1000 for a home inspection. It's a good idea. They can save you some real problems that might be hidden. What about the water? That's something hidden even from the home inspector so they don't bother with it unless it's leaking out somewhere. There are homes we've tested that are so high in copper in the water that your health could be at real risk if you drink it. We check the city water at each location right before it enters the home so we can compare. In every instance the city water is fine. What happened between the outside tap and the inside? Something is going on here but no one seems to know what. So how do you know? The only way is to get a lab test to see what your homes plumbing is doing to your water.
