For the first time ever, the NFL will play a game in Madrid Spain. America isn't exactly sending the Spaniards their best.
The struggling 3-7 Washington Commanders will face off against the equally laboring 3-7 Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins will play host for the game.
For Washington, this is a disappointing season, as much more was expected from this franchise after last years success. The season has been without last years magic and scarred with injuries. Marcus Mariota will start this game after Jayden Daniels dislocated his non-throwing elbow during garbage time of a blow out loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
There was never much optimism in Miami, and still this season has been a tremendous letdown. Nevertheless, it is possible that the Dolphins are turning the corner. They have won 2 of their last three games, including last weeks impressive win versus the Buffalo Bills.
Can either of these teams salvage the season? Mike and Mo seem to doubt that...but they do agree on a winner.
