  • S2:E1: Finn, Grassroots Public Health
    Oct 2 2019
Many HWB Chapters organize People’s Clinics. People’s Clinics are free or sliding scale holistic health clinics that can take many forms - popup clinic at a table in a community room or local health food store, mobile clinic via bike, van, bus, cart. A monthly repeat clinic at a specific location. A disaster relief clinic after a hurricane, forest fire, flood, or catastrophic event. We may want to reach the homeless community, veterans, people in recovery, or families in shelters. In many cases, if we want to reach marginalized communities - especially for disaster relief - we must work with or alongside the public health system to reach those in need. Finn is working with HWB to help Organizers connect those dots to utilize the tools needed to integrate into PH systems.
