Kitty Swink is a film, stage, and television actress. Kitty made her film debut in a minor role in the 1987 comedy Like Father Like Son, followed by a supporting part in Paul Schrader's biopic Patty Hearst (. She has worked primarily in television, including guest appearances on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1999), Judging Amy (2005), and Without a Trace (2006) She was then 2024 recipient of the Ralph Morgan Award from SAG-AFTRA for Extraordinary Service in the Cause of Actors. Kitty has also served as the Vice President of SAG.She has been married for 44 years to Armin Shimerman, who she is lucky enough to share the stage with in Outside Mulingar currently.

Kitty is a pancreatic cancer survivor, with this month being pancreatic cancer awareness month. She works to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure and eliminating the disease.
