About this listen

Alper Tuzcu was born in Istanbul, Türkiye.

He spent much of his childhood between there and Türkiye’s beautiful Mediterranean coast. Then, he moved to the Spanish city of Valencia, and later to the US... always following the music.

His songs portray these memories and the many places he has been… like an audible diary where he keeps all his travel stories.

We can hear flamenco from Spain, cumbia from Colombia and everything in between. Alper creates music that transcends cultural borders.

Now he is a recognized figure in the international music scene… voting at the Grammy Awards and working with the very best in the business. He is also an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music.

Here is his story.
