  • Episode 4: Recruiting a ghost or ghosting a recruiter?
    Oct 13 2025

In our previous episode we went deep on the impact of ghosting on job seekers.

In this episode Trevor, Paul and special guest Dean Ellis dive deep on the impacts of recruiters being ghosted. Both Trevor and Dean have deep experience in the recruiting industry, and it shows. Almost as much as their "people first" approach.

You can reach out to Dean on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/deanellis-rec4tech/ or at his company's website https://rec4tech.jobs/.

As the stories roll we get many useful tips and insights for job seekers. Trevor fires up (what's new??) and Dean provides plenty of laughs (and a Botox insight). Paul joins with questions, observations and also has a crack at keeping this show on track.

    Sep 25 2025

Some ghosts, like Casper, are friendly, helpful, and bring happiness.

Unfortunately, ghosting in recruitment is nothing like Casper.

It’s disrespectful, draining, and the opposite of making you feel happy and valued.

In this episode, Trevor, Paul, and special guest Stephen Holland discuss ghosting from a job seeker’s perspective. We explore why it happens and share positive behaviours and actions you can take in response.

We also announce an exciting new competition for our listeners.

Join us on H.I.R.E.D. and help us create a better experience for job seekers.

    Together, we are stronger.
