Brown who is associate attending surgeon, Gynecology Service, Memorial Hospital, and associate member Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York. She chairs the Communications Committee, Gynecologic Cancer Foundation. Dr. Brown's research focuses on screening and prevention of cervical and ovarian cancers, and the reduction and elimination of cancer health disparities experienced by medically underserved populations. Since 2005 she has served as the Director of the Office of Diversity Programs in Clinical Care, Research, and Training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Brown received her medical degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
