About this listen
The modern and post-modern Sami have dealt with many upheavals like the effects of climate change with pollution/mining exacerbating the effects of climate change. There are also darker undertones like the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. However, not all is lost as Sami activism has brought some hope to the people, especially during the 70's and 80's, where they fought the hydropower plant flooding Sami land.
