    The 2025 NFL season is 17 weeks old and with the playoffs right around the corner, a few playoff seedings and spots are still up for grabs. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Chicago Bears in an offensive shootout to keep their hopes of the NFC's #1 seed alive. Brock Purdy and Caleb Williams traded punches throughout Sunday evening until the 49ers defense stood tall. The Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks knocked off the Carolina Panthers, setting up a week 18 matchup that'll determine the winner of the NFC South. The Philadelphia Eagles held off the Buffalo Bills comeback attempt. Jalen Hurts commanded the first half and Josh Allen owned the second half but it was the Eagles defense that dominated the entire game, allowing the Eagles to stay alive in the race for the NFC's 2nd seed. The Steelers fell to the Browns, the Ravens knocked off the Packers and the Texans defeated the Chargers to all set up wild Wk18 playoff implications. The Jacksonville Jaguars dropped their statement win of the season on the Denver Broncos and now about 5 different teams can win the AFC's #1 seed. Trevor Lawrence and Co showed they are a legit Super Bowl contending team. The New England Patriots rallied behind Drake Maye and knocked off the Baltimore Ravens to stay a game ahead of the Bills in the AFC East. The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to win a whacky game in Detroit, earning our Hemingway moniker but today DK Metcalf found out that he will be suspended for the final two games of the 2025 NFL season. The Chargers, Texans and Bills all won over teams already eliminated so they could keep pace in the playoff race.     Chris and the fellas get deep with the NFL Week 16 previews. A great slate this weekend with both Saturday and Sunday games has us stoked for the playoff race! The Bears and Packers do battle to claim the NFC North with only a few games to play. Will Caleb Williams or Jordan Love lead their team to victory? In the NFC South, the Panthers and Buccaneers scrape for their own divisional lead. The Jaguars and Broncos meet with the Broncos needing a win to keep their lead in the race for the AFC's #1 seed. The Steelers and Lions meet with the loser having their playoff hopes take a huge hit and you know Dan Campbell will do anything to stop that from happening to Detroit. The Ravens need a win over the Patriots to remain in the AFC's playoff race and it could be a battle between QBs (Lamar Jackson and Drake Maye) that we'll see for years to come. We're also keeping an eye on the Chiefs to see how they compete without Patrick Mahomes and the Browns solely for the Sack Watch of Myles Garrett. We finish with a couple game previews that were lost in the Bermuda Triangle and our Thursday Night Time Machine.
