About this listen

A young woman in the Bahamas learns about love, desire and secrets as she develops a relationship with a newcomer to her small community. This is a vivid, skilfully woven story about what we learn as we mature and what informs the choices we make.

I don't know if there is something special about the autobiographical nature of these kinds of stories that maybe give the autho r the benefit of truth and experience but their is something truly great about these short stories. There is something in the details and in the narrative sound, you can feel the authors character throughout.

These short story comp winners are always really good
