About this listen

Episode Description:

In 2025, the U.S. economy has taken a sharp decline due to tariffs, stagnate wages, inflation, unlawful termination of federal workers, just to name a few factors. Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, no demographic has been hit harder than Black women. Last month, The New York Times, released an article entitled, “In Trump’s Federal Work Force Cuts, Black Women Are Among the Hardest Hit”. Christina and Ekemini are sitting at the table to give hope, encouragement, and presence to the unemployed. They also share the impacts these economic changes and targeting has had on them individually and on Truth’s Table as a whole. Pull up a chair and have a seat at the table with us!
