Good for the Goose, Good for the Gander: The Black Dollar Circulation” – Summary

By Rev. Dr. Christina Clement

President, Black USA | Founding Member, State of Loc Nation Global Public Benefit Corporation

In this powerful address titled “Good for the Goose, Good for the Gander,” Rev. Dr. Christina Clement draws a direct line between the founding of the United States in 1776 and the present-day establishment of the State of Loc Nation Global Public Benefit Corporation and Trust. The speech focuses on the need for Black America to stop waiting for outside permission to thrive and instead exercise the same bold self-determination the founders of the United States once did.

She opens by posing a crucial question: “How did America become America?” The answer is simple but profound — a group of visionaries walked into a room, declared independence from an unjust system, and documented it. They didn’t wait for approval from kings or parliaments; they gave themselves the right to build a new future.

Rev. Dr. Clement then parallels this with what her leadership has done in 2024 and 2025. The State of Loc Nation didn’t beg Congress or wait for recognition. Instead, they declared sovereignty, drafted their charter, established a Supreme Court and Treasury Tribunal, and introduced their own currency — the Loc Nation Dollar (LND) — backed by legal authority and public record.

She reminds us that America’s founders were once labeled “rebels.” Likewise, she and her peers may be called “radicals,” but they are following a legitimate and historically proven path. Just as the U.S. fought “taxation without representation,” the State of Loc Nation confronts redlining without repair. And just as America created the U.S. dollar, Loc Nation created its own Black-backed currency to serve its people and economy.

Rev. Dr. Clement urges listeners to stop asking for permission and to assert their right to govern, to build, and to circulate wealth. She closes by declaring:

“We are not begging for change — we are creating it.

We are not asking for permission to exist — we are asserting our sovereignty.”

The message is clear: If it was good for the goose in 1776, it is good for the gander in 2025.
