What happens when we want God’s presence and power—but not His leadership? In 1 Samuel 4–5, Israel tries to use the Ark of the Covenant to secure God’s blessing on their plans, only to discover that God cannot be controlled or manipulated.

In this message, we’re challenged to consider the ways we may try to fit God into our own agendas rather than surrendering our plans to Him. Because surrender isn’t losing—it’s entrusting our lives to the God no box could ever contain.
