Today we read from Acts Chapter 1 and Luke Chapter 24 about the ascension of Jesus in to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the father. We also run down the timeline from The Last Super all the way to Pentecost which is coming up next weekend.

Today we read from the book of Revelation Chapter 3 about the letter Jesus instructs John to write a letter to the Church in Laodicea. This seems like it could be any church in the world today?

After a scary personal encounter today Michael is giving thanks and urging everyone to pray for protection. We read from Psalm 91 and incredibly uplifting prayer of Protection, and 1st Thessalonians chapter 5 about what St. Paul wrote encouraging the New Believers to pray constantly and to give thanks.

Today we read from 1st Corinthians and the earliest known scripture that talks about the Eucharist written about 20 years after the Crucifixion of Jesus. We also go over why this topic is so divisive amongst different Christian denominations.

Today we read from the Book of Numbers and Deuteronomy about Moses not being allowed to take the Israelites in to the Promise land and the coincidence that the guy who did was named Joshua.

Today we read from the Gosepl of John about Jesus telling the religious leaders he is the Good Shepherd. Then we break down that talk from John Chapter 10 and explain what he is saying and look at Ezekiel Chapter 34 where he gives a very detailed breakdown of God Himself through King David becoming the Good Shepherd of his people after the Religious leaders have failed to protect them.

Today we read from the Book of Acts and how Peter and the Other Apostles become very Bold in their preaching after being filled with the Holy Spirit once Jesus ascended in to Heaven. Just a few weeks after being terrified that they were going to be the next ones rounded up by the Jewish Leaders they come out and preach and tell the people of Israel to Repent and be Baptized.
