Her teaching and writing has explored feminist questions about the interplay of patriarchy and militarism in women's lives around the world. Among her books are "Bananas, Beaches and Bases: Making Feminist Sense of International Politics" and "Manoeuvres: The International Politics of Militarizing Women's Lives."
