The Bible calls it our “flesh nature.” It’s the part in us that makes us want to do all the things we shouldn’t and not do all the things we should, and we struggle against it daily. But here’s the good news: with the Holy Spirit inside of you, you can overcome your flesh nature!

God has always operated in appointed times and seasons. Moses and the children of Israel had an appointment with God when He came down with fire on Mount Sinai. The disciples of Jesus had an appointment with God when the Holy Spirit and fire came down on the Temple Mount. Both these events happened the same day on God’s calendar, about 1,500 years removed—The Day of Pentecost—and were set ablaze with the same Fire from Heaven!
