About this listen
Recorded by the National Coalition of Girls' Schools. In the second episode, we explore how girls can be “nourished” in communities to develop both their voice and the confidence necessary to take on social injustice — with Dr Briony Scott, Principal of Wenona School in Sydney and Dr Kate Hadwen, the Principal of Pymble Ladies College, also in Sydney, both thought leaders on girls’ education. Each has a proven track record of professional dedication to the importance of research-based educational programming. We will also hear the voices of girls themselves as they talk about the communities that have supported their endeavours and why they feel compelled to speak up and out.
