About this listen
Jessica Tee, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She planned to attend medical school to become a neurosurgeon until volunteering at a local women’s shelter. Here she realized her true passion and purpose and as a result, Jessica and her best friend Kindra Mone’, founded The Pretty Powerful Foundation - a 501(c)3 previously known as PeekABoo PrettyGirl.
Pretty Powerful inspires the next generation of women to embrace their femininity, take charge, and become leaders of tomorrow. Pretty Powerful is also what led Jessica into the the classroom to become a high school English educator. After 5 years, she left her class (which she absolutely loved) to get back to her true purpose - The Pretty Powerful Foundation.
Along with her pursuing her purpose, Jessica enjoys reading, traveling, and simply living life. She plans to spend the rest of her life helping girls and young women reach their highest potential.
