Matthew Thompson is a writer and director, whose new series ANOMALY premieres February 26th, 2026.

Matthew also just screened FOOD 2050 at the Sundance Film Festival in January. The film is narrated by Oscar Winner Viola Davis.

Under their joint production banner, THE MATTS, Matthew Law and Matthew Thompson create their passion projects. Hilariously, the name of their production company was bestowed upon them by none other than David Fincher.

Frequent collaborators of Matthew include William Rouse, Matthew Law, Jeff Vanderpull, Andy Fronczak, and Gabriela Banda.

Salomon Ligthelm is a prolific director, and in my opinion, destined for the IMAX screen.

In this episode, we discuss what inspires him and what he aims to achieve with his stories.

Salomon is from South Africa, but now resides in New York with his family. He travels to Los Angeles to film often and is continuously producing work that moves the needle. There are a handful of artists that really get me excited about this era of filmmaking, and Salomon Ligthelm is at the top of that list.
