    Few employee thefts and frauds are detected. Even fewer are prosecuted, and of those miniscule percent, even fewer make the news. Yet, every week, we see more and more cases of employee dishonesty making the news, involving progressively larger amounts. In part, lack of controls are to blame. In part, technology is to blame, as well. But in almost all cases, these incidents could have been prevented, or thwarted early.
