We explore the debate over who is the most important WNBA player of all time, examining why Lisa Leslie often tops the list while acknowledging many others who deserve consideration.

    • Lisa Leslie stands out as a trailblazer, one of the original faces of the WNBA, and the first woman to dunk in a professional game
    • Leslie's accomplishments include three MVPs, two championships, eight All-Star selections, and Olympic success
    • Cheryl Swoopes, often called the "female Michael Jordan," was the first player to sign with the WNBA
    • Diana Taurasi is widely considered the GOAT with her 20+ year career and scoring dominance
    • Candace Parker changed the game by winning MVP as a rookie and remains culturally relevant today
    • Maya Moore's social justice work and Lauren Jackson's international impact expanded the WNBA's influence
    • The definition of "importance" varies depending on whether we prioritize on-court dominance, cultural impact, or barrier-breaking

Please like, subscribe, comment, and tell anyone who's anyone about the show. I'm curious to hear who you believe is the most important WNBA player of all time and why.

  • Shedeur Sanders: Fifth Round Steal or Right on Target?
    May 14 2025

    Send us a text

Examining whether Shadur Sanders was drafted too low as Cleveland Browns' fifth-round pick and comparing his situation to other famous sons in sports. We explore the complex factors that might have influenced NFL teams' evaluations, from college performance to the potential impact of his famous father's personality.

    • Shadur Sanders was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round (144th pick)
    • Some believe he deserved to be picked in the second or third round based on his college play
    • His lack of championships or playoff appearances at Jackson State and Colorado likely affected his draft stock
    • Deion Sanders' confident personality may have influenced how NFL teams evaluated his son
    • Unlike Travis Hunter who showed clear first-round talent, Shadur's college dominance wasn't as definitive
    • Comparison to Bronny James reveals differences in how they handle their public personas
    • Lonzo Ball comparison shows how outspoken parents (LaVar Ball) can affect draft perception
    • Fifth round isn't necessarily bad – Tom Brady was picked in the sixth round
    • If Shadur helps turn around the Browns, it could build a tremendous legacy for him
