About this listen

How can we read Romantic poems as both typographic and auditory experiences? What connects English and German poetry from the Romantic era? These are the questions, among others, that absorbed students enrolled in the 2025/26 winter semester seminar “Transnational Encounters: German & British Romanticism” taught by Jessica Bundschuh and Toni Bernhart. This four-part podcast of poetic exploration and recitation emerged as part of that seminar.
