It's a trap! It's a movie! It's a Shyamalan thriller! It's a vehicle for his daughter to show off her singing! It's a vehicle for Josh Hartnett to be bonkers. It's all of the above! Was it great? No. Was it good? Sometimes. Was it fun? Mostly.

Am I glad I finally watched it? Yes.

This is my 25th Marvel movie for Movie Month. I think since Iron-Man 3, the only movies I haven't seen for Movie Month are Winter Soldier, the first Guardians, and Age of Ultron (I watched movies and didn't podcast about them?) and Deadpool & Wolverine (I couldn't wait until this year!)

Of course this doesn't include movies yet to be seen...

Notice I haven't talked much about this particular movie? Well, to be fair I wrote everything above before I watched it. Now I watched it. And there's not much else I want to say here. But I did watch it. Listen now and you'll hear my thoughts. I will spoil it that I didn't hate it. But....well, just listen.

June the 4th be with you! See, I knew it would work every month. Anyway, that has nothing to do with today's movie. Today - well this morning and this evening I watched my first non sequel of the month, but still something that was based on something else. Nothing original yet! I'm sure we'll get to something wholly original at some point.

But not today, today I watched an ode to the stunt performer, and although it didn't do good at the box office, and while it wasn't a perfect movie - it made me smile and laugh multiple times and Gosling is pretty much great in everything he does.

Happy Tuesday movie nerds! Want to hear something crazy? Literally ten years ago today, I went to see Mad Max: Fury Road in the theater for my 2015 Movie Month (back when it was only a blog.) I did not plan that at all - it was just dumb luck that it worked out this way.

And now, a decade later I see the follow-up prequel giving us the backstory to the best character in Fury Road, Furiosa.

This movie is a helluva ride, but it's a shame this did so poorly at the box office because George Miller is a legend and I'd love him to be able to continue expanding this world.

Daaaaay Two! It's day two, it's day two, it's day twoooo. Day two of twelfth movie month. And yes I use that same joke in the podcast. Welcome back movie nerds! Today's movie was always planned to be day one of this year - until Ethan Hunt took a mission that timed with a June 1st that happened to be on a weekend.

So the sequel to Beetlejuice had to wait a day. Hell, we waited thirty-six years for the "ghost with the most" to return - what's one more day for me?

Movie Month is back!!!! Happy June everybody! Today I officially start my 30 day adventure of watching 30 movies and recording 30 podcasts - but in truth, I've been prepping for the past week as I've spent the last seven days rewatching all of the Mission: Impossible movies to be ready for today.

And am I glad I did!

I love these movies and I am starting to think this is my favorite overall series that I've done for this project. This movie wasn't perfect and it was loooong, but I still had a great time and had physical reactions (bopping around in my chair, fist bumps, huge smiles) that proved to me I was enjoying myself.

Is this the end for Ethan Hunt? I won't say anything here - but this podcast, should you choose to listen, will contain spoilers.

We did it, McFriends. Another Marchy McFly successfully in the books. In this episode, we finish out Back to the Future - a perfect movie with an amazing ending.

Today was a loooong day. I talk about most of it before I actually get discussing today's block of Back to the Future, so buckle up for an adventure!

In today's segment, Marty finds out that Doc did in fact read the letter, which allowed him to survive (or at least plan to survive - you never know.) We then find out Doc is heading 30 years into the future, and when Marty wakes up the next morning - something's not right. And with all questions Marty has, there's only one that I have.
