Hi everyone, and thanks for joining me again! I want to especially welcome all of my new listeners, both here in the US and in over 25 new countries around the world since I began Season Two!! Unexpected gift, but I'll take it! It is such an honor to know that people around the world are listening to my story and Mikey's, and hopefully it's of benefit ! Today I'm going to go ahead and start talking about a subject that is close to my heart, due to the fact that my entire life has been profoundly affected by the symptoms and actions of it, and that is Borderline Personality Disorder, also known as BPD. These diagnoses are on the rise, and even I, with all my resources and the help that I theoretically had access to, was not diagnosed and treated correctly until my 40's after a major suicide attempt. Tune in if you, or someone that you know or love is afflicted with BPD, or if you think you might be and want to get some insight. We will break down the symptoms and the facts together, and I will be following up this show with two to three more shows about Borderline Personality Disorder, the areas of life that it primarily affects, and living with it. There is much to cover, and this disorder has several common co-morbidities, but it is treatable and actually has a higher rate of recovery success than depression or Bipolar Disorder. Let's check it out together...as always, hope you enjoy, and thanks for listening!
