On October 5th, Rabun County issued a “be on the lookout” for a black sports bike flying through North Carolina and into Georgia. Deputies in Habersham County soon spotted the rider — later identified as 19-year-old David Karpov — and gave chase.
But here’s the crazy part: they ran him over.
That’s right — instead of ending the pursuit with a standard takedown or PIT maneuver, deputies used lethal force with a vehicle to stop him.
