Augusto se aventurou no futebol ao comprar o time americano em 2012, mas fez fortuna com uma escola de idiomas: a Wise Up. Em 2014, ele chegou a vender a empresa para o grupo Abril Educação, mas recomprou de novo pouco tempo depois pela metade do preço. Hoje a holding Wiser Educação prepara sua entrada no mercado de capitais.
