About this listen

"Ok you can go, but be home by six."

Words Julie Moseley's mother regretted for 43 years until her death in 2017.

It was Christmas time in Ft. Worth, Texas and it was 1974. Bell bottoms, promise rings, and the hopes of Santa's favor was in the air.

Three young girls, the youngest only 9, had a day of mall shopping ahead. Christmas was only two days away and their excitement was palpable.

The girls had specific times to arrive home, so when those times came and went, their families became increasingly concerned.

But they didn't show. The next day a bizarre letter arrives to one of their homes. Witnesses began coming forward with horrific accounts of vans, trucks, strange men, and demands. But what is the true story?

Rachel Trlica, Renee Wilson, and Julie Moseley were last seen at the Seminary South shopping center on December 23, 1974 - and not a trace of them has been seen since.
