Gunnar Spørck bor i Vågsbygd utenfor Kristiansand. På Bjaavann Golfklubb har han funnet en god grunn til å leve, ved hjelp av en klubb og et miljø som støtter og tilrettelegger.
Gunnar ble bitt av basillen og har spilt golf over hele verden, men for noen år siden måtte han amputere et bein. Da solgte han golfsettet med en tanke om at golflivet var over.
I dag har Gunnar mål om å gå 100 meter uten støtte, og spille golf seks dager i uken.
